Beyer joins from Pointsec Mobile Technology, the leading player in the mobile device security and services market, where he was Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific and Africa. Beyer was responsible for establishing a presence for Pointsec in these regions back in 2004, and built up a multi-million euro business in under two years.

Beyer has been in the IT industry for over 13 years, working for start-up organizations as well as global multi-million dollar companies. Prior to joining Pointsec, Beyer held management positions in a number of IT companies including Eracom Technologies, Utimaco Safeware, and GE Capital IT Solutions.
Beyer holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration in Zurich, as well as an MSc in Internet Security from the same establishment.
